By registering a domain with us, you agree to comply with this Policy, our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and applicable registry/ICANN rules.
2. Domain Registration Terms
- Domain names are registered on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability
- Registration periods vary (typically 1 to 10 years), depending on the domain extension (TLD/ccTLD)
- You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information during registration. False, incomplete, or misleading details may lead to suspension or cancellation
- By registering a domain with FeclesHost, you agree to abide by the specific policies of the respective registry managing your chosen extension
3. Renewals & Expirations
All domains must be renewed before their expiration date to remain active. We send multiple renewal reminders via email to your registered email address. However, it is your responsibility to ensure timely renewal.
If a domain is not renewed on time, it may enter the following phases:
- Grace Period: Typically up to 30 days (varies by extension). Renewal at the regular rate may still be possible
- Redemption Period: After the grace period, domains may enter redemption (typically 30 days). Additional redemption fees will apply
- Deletion: Once deleted, the domain becomes available for public registration and may be lost permanently
FeclesHost is not responsible for loss of domains due to non-renewal.
4. Transfers
Domains may be transferred in or out of FeclesHost in accordance with ICANN and registry policies.
- For gTLDs (e.g., .com, .net, .org), domains cannot be transferred within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer
- Transfers require EPP/Auth codes and may require confirmation via email
- Successful transfer requires that the domain is unlocked and the WHOIS details are accurate
5. WHOIS Accuracy & Responsibilities
- ICANN and registries require all domain owners to provide accurate WHOIS data
- Failure to maintain accurate data may result in suspension or termination of the domain
- You are responsible for keeping your contact details updated in your FeclesHost account
6. Suspension, Termination & Abuse
Domains may be suspended or terminated if found to violate applicable laws, registry rules, or FeclesHost Terms of Service.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- False WHOIS data
- Spam, phishing, or malware distribution
- Illegal or abusive content
- Non-payment of fees
FeclesHost fully complies with applicable takedown laws and will respond to valid legal requests.
7. Domain Disputes
- All domain disputes are subject to the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) and applicable registry dispute mechanisms
- FeclesHost is not a mediator in disputes between third parties over domain ownership
8. Refund Policy for Domains
Domain registrations, renewals, and transfers are non-refundable once processed.
If a registration attempt fails due to unavailability or technical issues, a full credit or refund will be provided to your FeclesHost account.
9. Governing Currencies & Payments
- Our primary currency is Nigerian Naira (NGN)
- We also accept USD, EUR, GBP, and INR for international customers
- Currency conversions are subject to prevailing exchange rates at the time of payment
10. Agreement
By registering a domain with FeclesHost, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Domain Registration Policy, alongside our Refund Policy and Terms and Conditions.
